Critical History

The sculpture of St John of Nepomuk has not been mentioned in the literature. With stylistic analysis we can attribute the sculpture to Joseph Straub. There are several similarities with St John of Nepomuk in Štanjel dated in 1741. The original location of the sculpture is unknown. Probably originates from a church destroyed during the First World War.

Construction / Execution
