TrArS and Creative Europe visit Pakrac
After their presentation in Gornja Jelenska, the educational and promotional events entitled European Baroque in my Homeland: Socialising with the Straub Family Heritage continued in Pakrac, where they were included in the programme of Pakrac Cultural Summer.
Visitors were introduced to the ideas and aims of the Creative Europe programme and were offered practical advice on how to register and participate. The TrArS project was highlighted as an example of good practice, enhancing European identity and successfully raising the cultural potential of partner countries thanks to the level of international and inter-institutional cooperation achieved. The discoveries related to the earliest known work by Franz Anton Straub, the high altar of the parish church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Pakrac, received particularly detailed attention.
The presentation was held in the Town Hall on 10 July 2019, co-organised by the Croatian Conservation Institute, the Ministry of Culture of Croatia – Creative Europe Desk, the Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Pakrac, the Town of Pakrac, the Pakrac Tourist Board and the Pakrac Municipal Museum.
